With the help of Aaron we finished up the hallway wood. Not much else
is going on. Just fixing the little stuff. Put in a new garbage
disposal, so that's nice to use :-)

Here is my facet. Or how ever you spell it lol. It now does not
leak :-). That is all

Got the attic ladder installed. Man that was a pain to install by
myself. Next time I am going to wait till Missy gets home :-)

And the pattio cover is down. A lot of work for one guy. Was a pita to
keep it from hitting the house

And all installed. Need to fix the drywall tomorrow. And trim it out.
It's a steel fire door :-)

Got the framing done for the door to the garage

4 2x4s, 1 2x6 and the new door to the garage. Good thing I have a roof
rack :-)

LOL thoes damn sweeds, what will they think of next. This holds the
nail the proper spacing for when you hammer it in. And saves your
fingers

Man. Ikea sure gets expensive LOL

Getting there

Got off to a late start today. Started around noon. Had to go get
more wood. Picked up four more boxes.

And here it is all cleaned and ready for wood.

Well here is where we have been sleeping lol. Was such a nice change
to sleep in our bed :-) this is the master bedroom btw

Well wile finishing the wood install in the living room and office
(all done now) my trusty makita power miter saw went up in smoke right
when I had 10 more cuts to do. So ran out to HD and picked up this
one. It's got a laser on it LOL. Also will make installing crown
molding eaiser

Woot. Movers showed up in the am. Finally have furniture and a BED.
Man I miss our bed sooooo much. Thankfully Jen let us borrow a air
matras and Aaron let us borrow a sleeping bag and blanket as we packed
thoes LOL.

I also got 90% of the flooring done in the living room and office on
Tuesday

And on Tuesday. Almost done.

And it all fixed up and ready for the new frig

We had to do this as there was a water pipe coming into the area and
we wouldn't be able to put the frig in

Got the w/d installed. Just barly fits. Sure is nice to have clean
clothes again LOL

Got the 1/4 round installed in the laundry room. Ready for the washer
and dryer

Had to fix a few more things today. first up was the pressure relief  valve on the water heater was bad and was leaking. So, off to home depot we went. picked up the part we needed and headed home. unsolderd the joint and took out the old one and put in the new one. Wile in HD we also picked up a pan for under the waterheater so we would be in code. I went to drain the waterheater and the drain valve was bad and wouldnt let it drain LOL. so off to HD again to pick up that part. fixing the waterheater took almost 4 hours. doh.

so we got a late start on the hardwood flooring. 

we got about half of the living room installed. We are installing on a diagonal which is taking us longer then normal. we had Aaron helping out once again to do some of the cutting while I spread the glue and laid the planks. Missy helped with this also and also picked out a nice fridge and washer and dryer thats being delivered tomorrow :D sweet, we can finally do some laundry and have a nice cold beer.

The electronics you see is the cable box and modem. i cant live with out internet so we made sure to work around that :D

Started ripping out all the carpet today. Once again Aaron stopped by to help :D he sure loves ripping up stuff.



















Here Aaron is once again pulling up the tac strip. I did do some work also, but no photos LOL


















Now all clean and ready for wood to be installed.

woot, new wood installed :D i put wood in the laundry area. only a small spot, but i wanted to install a washer and dryer this weekend.

Decided to take out the door jam in the living room. There was one going into the hallway and one going into the office. Aaron was more then helpful to demo. here is how we left it. all nice and stripped.
